I am curator at a local authority, which has a collection I think needs a new future. Currently it feels as if every avenue is a dead end. I’d like to work with someone who has relevant strategic, brainstorming and operational expertise who can honestly assess whether or not there are opportunities we can access and what could be prioritised, perhaps for external funding. It can be short and sharp but there is a lot to unpack in the situation and limited resources to do much about it. However I believe it is not totally hopeless! I’d like someone who can tolerate me laying out the full situation in some detail but who can also help me look at that situation constructively.
